The GAGenWeb Project

In March and April, 1996, a group of genealogists organized the Georgia Comprehensive Genealogy Database. The idea was to provide a single entry point for all counties in Georgia, where collected databases would be stored. In addition, the databases would be indexed and cross-linked, so that even if an individual were found in more than one county, they could be located in the index. At the same time, volunteers were found who were willing to coordinate the collection of databases and generally oversee the contents of the web page.

My name is Carolyn Barber Jarrard and I am the person responsible for Bryan, Liberty, McIntosh, Camden, and Effingham Counties. If you would like to contribute your information to this page, please email me at coastalgenealogy@gmail.com. If you would like to host a county, contact Linda Blum-Barton the State Coordinator of The GAGenWeb Project

If you have typed records of county census, cemetery records, marriage
records, etc., they are needed here to share with others on the Internet.
Please consider submitting your records so we all might benefit from them.
