Researching Levi SMITH, lived in Florida in the 1783 Spanish Census. After Florida he went to Bryan County, Ga. and was also in Effingham. Levi had a son, Elisha who married Polly ANDREWS in Liberty county, Ga. Elisha's third wife was Matilda MOBLEY of Liberty County, Ga. and in the 1880 census of McIntosh was living there. I also know Levi was in S.C. and is listed as a Loyalist.In the Spanish Census he states he is from Pennsylvania.

Harold McLeod Seeking info on SIMEON MCLEOD. I found him listed with John, James, William, and Mary in the 182? land lottery as orphans. There was also an Amelia listed as a widow that I believe to be the mother. In 1824 they moved to Lowndes (now Brooks) County.
