Buncombe School was located South of Tallapoosa in the community of Buncombe. Exact location is not known but I believe it was on Old Hwy 100, now Stone Mountain Road. Below picture was taken about 1932 and included grades one thru three.
All students at the Buncombe School in 1932 have been identified by Mary Bennett (Long). We appreciate her information.
