" Haralson County, Georgia, A History" by Lois Owens Newman,           Mrs. Newman collected materials for over ten years for this 410 page volume. The book features Haralson County marriages from 1856-1900, the 1860 Federal Census, and the 1896 Voters' List, plus  family sketches and tax digests. (Mrs. Newman passed away July 16, 2003 at the age of about 99.  We pause a moment to pay tribute to a great Historian, neighbor and friend.)
