This photo of Ruby Rogers Cuff may have been taken at James Spring
in the northern part of Madison County. It flows from a pipe into a bowl either of
marble or concrete exactly as shown here. The water has a high mineral content. Back in
the early 1900s there were cabins there that people could rent and stay a week or two
hoping for a cure of whatever. ~ Howard Floyd
