Lloyd James Rogers was the son of Robert Thomas Rogers and Mary Elizabeth Clarissa Smith.  He married Cora Lee Murray on 1 Dec 1898 in Madison County.  Cora was the daughter of Stephen Thomas Murray and Mary Elmyrah Pamela Ann Tempy Burroughs. 

Lloyd and Cora are pictured here with their four children; top left is James Murray Rogers (1903-1984) who married Elizabeth Jackson Barrett; center is Ruby Rogers (1905-1980) who married William A. Cuff of Tennessee; top right is Raymond Rogers (1901-1972); the baby on Cora's lap is Ruth Rogers, born 13 Nov 1912 and died 4 Mar 2000; she married John J. B. Brooks of Vermont.
