UPSON COUNTY (From Pike )1824. December 1824 Act, Pike was divided by taking the Tenth, Eleventh and Fifteenth Districts of  Pike to Create part of Upson.

On Dec. 10, 1825, the legislature returned the land north of Elkin's Creek in northwest Upson County to Pike County (Ga. Laws
1825, p. 60).


SPALDING CO. Spalding County was created on December 20, 1851, (Ga. Laws 1851-52, P. 58). Created from portions of Fayette
Henry and Pike Counties.

BUTTS Co.
(From Monroe and Henry Counties) Act of December 1825. Monroe was again divided by using the land North of Lot No. 139, District 4 and 14, forming the South Boundary of the lot and running Eastward until it crossed Sandy Creek, then down
Sandy Creek to its confluence with the Ocmulgee River, all the land North of this line was taken and create part of Butts
County.
