A marriage of interest to many friends was that of Miss Georgia Cunningham and Mr. Elijah French,
which was quietly solemnized at four o’clock Sunday Afternoon December 13, at the First
Presbyterian manse, Rev. Frank Morgan performing the ceremony. Only the relatives and a few
friends were present.  Mrs. G. C. Hobbs, of Clinton South Carolina and Mr. J. Porter
Cunningham, sister and brother of the bride attended the couple.  Mrs. French is a most lovable
young woman and is descendant of one of Georgia oldest families.  She is a niece of Miss Emily
Lafayette Mclaws, the well known writer and is a great niece of
the  late. Gen. Lafayette Mclaws of Confederate fame.

Mr. French is connected with the Southern Press Cloth company, and is held in high esteem by h

is associates.  The couple are at home at 2152 Central Ave.
