We are hunting for information about Randolph Elliott. Born: 1799? and died in 1832 in Richmond Co., GA.  He
married Elizabeth B Withers on 29 March 1826 in Richmond County, Ga.  They had two children : Robert Alexander,
1827 -1885 and John C., 1829-1881.  The 1830 census shows him in Dunhams District, Richmond, Ga.  We have not
been able to find any other info on him or when he arrived in Richmond, Co

Looking for parents of my 2d great grandfather, John Lewis Ells (1829-1889). His
connections to Richmond Co are: 1) John L ELLS claimed residence in Richmond Co.,
GA when he enlisted 26 April 1861 as 1st Sergt. in G Co. 3rd Inf Reg.GA. (then Col.
then acting Adj.) He retired from wounds in 1863. 2) His youngest child, my great-grand
MOTHER Jefferson Davis ELLS, was born in Augusta, Richmond, GA. The year of
her birth varies in different records from 1865-1868. (She married Frank Percival
ROBSON) Other facts about John Lewis ELLS: born 1829 in Bibb Co., GA. (1860
federal census) moved to Troy, Rensselaer, NY by the late 1840s married Margaret
E RICKARDS of Troy, NY about 1849 lived in Troy, Rensselaer, NY for 1850
census Lived in 3rd Dist., City of Savannah, Chatham County, GA for 1860 census
three children: George/John b. abt 1850 in Troy NY Emma Francis b. 04 Feb 1854,
in Troy, NY Jefferson Davis, b. 29 Dec 186? In Augusta, GA John died in Easton,
Talbot, MD in 1889, Margaret in 1898. buried in Spring Hill Cemetery I am trying
to track John Lewis Ells parents! The only other Richmond Co. Ells lived in 1st Ward
of Augusta, Richmond, GA in 1860: Martha W. Ells, 53, b. GA Jas N Ells, 28, m,
Superintendent of Field and Fireplace, b. GA Francis A Ells, 22, b. GA. This Martha
is the right age to be John Lewis ELLS mother. John Lewis’ family may have lived
with her after he enlisted. Besides residing in Richmond Co, Martha may also the
widow of Nathan ELLS, the only ELLS listed in Bibb Co, GA in 1830. (The Bibb
Co. Nathan had one male

We are seeking information on James Walter Flynn born abt 1872 and married to a
woman by the name of Callie. We do not know her maiden name as of yet. They are
listed on the De Soto County Mississippi 1920 and 1930 Census. James Walter Flynn
is listed as being born in Georgia. If you know any thing about this family please contact us.

Seeking info on a Irmgard fredericksen who lived in Augusta,Ga.in 1952.Would like
to make contact with descendents also.She was borned around 1918.She was 34 in 1952.

Seeking family data on W. R. Fulghum and wife Mary listed in the 1880 census of
richmond county.  He was listed as being 44 years old and a grocer.  She is listed
as being 32 years old and keeping house.  Any assistance appreciated.

Am researching my grandmother, Cleo Bertia FULMER Bridgers, born 7 July,
1886 in Augusta. Parents were Morgan Frank FULMER and Lula Elizabeth King
Harling FULMER.Would like to know what schools existed in about 1892 that
my grandmother would have attended. Would any records exists and where could
I find them? The obituary for my great grandfather states that he was an engineer.
Did Southern RR run through Augusta between the 1880's and 1890's? 

Several family members are working on the Reddick family out of Burke and Screven
Counties (formerly St. George Parish). These Reddick brothers are Nicholas, Francis,
Jacob, and Peter. Jacob Reddick was married to Nancy Wiggins. We would like more
information on Nancy Wiggins' family. Peter Reddick was married to Margaret Clarke,
daughter of Col. John Clarke and Sarah Tobler Clarke of Beech Island, SC. Sarah
Tobler Clarke is the niece of Rev. Johann J. Zubley and also the niece of Ulrich Tobler.
Francis, Peter and Jacob Reddick were sued by a Dennis Glisson in 1789. Peter
Reddick sold land to Seaborn Jones in 1809 located in Screven County, GA, and
Nicholas Reddick bought land from Francis Paris, which later, his children also sold,
we think, to Seaborn Jones. We do know the land they lived on near Brier Creek now
is part of Millhaven Plantation. When Jacob Reddick died, his widow, Nancy Wiggins
Reddick married Turner Braswell. Jacob and Peter Reddick also bought land from
John Michael Burkhalter in 1792. The Reddick brothers, either individually or
together, were involved in courtcases with the following people: William Christie,
John Adam Nesler, Abram Heath, Benjamin Warren, and Major Hurst. We would
certainly be happy to share any information we have, but we are certainly interested
in learning more about any of these families (i.e. where they lived, why they were

I am searching for information about Lewis Gerdine or Louis Girardin.
He is my gggggrandfather.  Born Louis Girardin in 1738 in South
Carolina.  Was married to Christine Mayenden.  He is listed on the GA
Tax Index 1789-99 as Lewis Gerdine, Richmond County 1798, Bigg District,
Page 13.

Query: Very ignorant on black american history so any help or advice
would be welcome.

In the 1870 census I have Coates Habbershaw carpenter with his family, I
would like to find out more about them.

Bennie Lee Harbeson, (1886-abt. 1945), m. Rosa Nell Rumph (1894-1966). Bennie's
given name may be Benjamin and he could have spelled his last name "Harbison." He
and Rosa Nell were born in the low country of SC and died in Augusta, GA. My mother
told me Bennie owned a wholesale dry goods store on Broad Street right across the
bridge from North Augusta, SC. I am interested in complete dates for birth and
death and where they are buried. Any leads at all will be appreciated.

These African Americans were listed in the cenus in 1880-1920. Please any information
regarding them would be helpful. Thanks, in advance. 

Looking for any info on the Heckles/Hackle. I'm a desendent of the Heckle's who
live there between 1801-1900.

I am looking for a Louise Meyers Livingstone. In 1935 she was given a Hicks
family Bible in the will of Margaret Batchelor Hicks. 

I am looking for information regarding the family of Seaborn (Seabern) E. HURST,
his wife Lydia, their parents and their children. Seaborn E. HURST is recorded as
having married Lydia D. CLARK(E)in Burke Co., GA on 6/13/1861 Seaborn enlisted
as a Private on 8/31/1861 in Comp. A, 22nd Infantry Regt., GA CSA and was
promoted to a full Sgt. on 8/30/1865. He was listed as residing in Richmond Co., at
the time of his enlistment/ Lydia may have been the may have been the Lydia b.ca.
1842 in GA listed in the 1860 Burke Co., GA Census. Her parent were listed as
Eyerrs (Ayers?) CLARK(E) originally from NY b.ca.1806 and Nancy --? originally
from NY b.ca. 1812. They had at least 3 other children. Elizabeth b.GA ca. 1844,
Sevauch (or Sevanch) b.GA ca. 1849 and Lorenzo b.GA ca. 1856. They may also
have had two other daughters named Esther CLARKE(BRINSON)and Irina
CLARKE (EWING).

Query: I am working on the Mclaws family of Richmond and am trying to
figure the connection Andrew Innes had to Janet and Alexander Mclaws.
Alexander was buried in St. Pauls Churchyard in 1810. I am trying to
find where Andrew Innes was buried and what his headstone says. He died
around 1815. He may be listed in the book "Respect this Stone" by
Cecelia Robertson.

Query: I wonder if anyone has info on the family headed by Ann E.
JACKSON in the 1850 census for Richmond County? I'm guessing that she is
the Elizabeth JACKSON who married John W. W. JACKSON in Richmond county
in 1829.

I am especially interested in what seems to be her 14 year old daughter,
Elizabeth C. JACKSON, listed in the 1850 census.

My gg grandmother, Elizabeth JACKSON, who was 44 in 1880 census, b in
GA, married William A. GOAD and had at least 2 children born in GA,
before moving to AL about by 1860.

She named her second daughter Elsie Clementine.....

Any ideas on whether I may or may not be on the right track would be
appreciated.

I am searching for any information on the family of Henry and Mary B. (RHODES)
JOHNSON,listed in the Richmond Co census for the years 1840-1870. Henry was
born 1808 and Mary was born in 1811, both were born in GA.  Henry and Mary B.
RHODES were married in Richmond Co in 1832. They had the following children:
Jacob B. b abt 1833 Mary B. b abt 1835 marr. abt 1865 John B.CORSERY ? Charles
A. b abt 1838 William H. H. b abt 1840 Jacob Danforth b abt 1843 Samuel B. C. b abt
1846 Laura B. b abt 1852 marr. 1866 James J. KNIGHT James G. b abt 1855
Listed on the 1870 census with Henry was Mylanta and James G. JOHNSON.

Searching for information on my ggrandparents,Henry William Jones
and his wife Mary Elizabeth Smith,lived in Richmond County,Georgia in 1880.

They had seven children,Henry Kilpatrick,Thomas,Robert,Charles Eugene,
George Francis and two daughters Minnie (Bacon)and Mary (Doughtry).
Mary Elizabeth Smith,was Killed when exiting a train,in 1888 in
Richmond County.
