                          This Indenture made this fourteenth day of
 eighteen Hundred forty one between Peter Lamar of the part of the county
 of Lincoln and William A. Tait of the county of Marion of the other part
 all of the state of Georgia.

   That for and in consideration of the sum of five hundred dollars to the
 said Peter Lamar as {?} &,o;u {?} as on before sealing & delivery of
 presents  the {?} being hereby acknowledging hath {?} and sold and by this
 {?} do hereby bargains and sell unto this said W. A. Tate his heirs and
 assay's and that tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Stewart
 {?} state containing two hundred two and a half acres more or less is being
 better known and distinguished on lot one hundred thirty five in the
 Thirty First district of Lee originally and now Stewart as foreseen the same {?}
 in the land lottery by Frances Gatril which fully shows by this grant & Lottery
 books, and was sold as administrators {?} or the property of said Frances
 Gatril died, purchased by his {?} Delaunay & by him conveyed to the said
 Peter Lamar of the first part herein. To have and to hold the said tract of land
 with all & singular the premises and appurtenances to the same {?} belonging
 or in any {?} appertaining to the {?} {?} issues and proof its thereof &
 every part.
 To said W.A. Tate his heirs & assay's forever in simple from in said Peter
 Lamor his heirs, executors and appurtenances & assayers from in claim or {?}
 of every other person or persons whatsoever in or to said {?} of {?} he this said
 Peter Lamar shall & will by their presents warrant and will forever defend -

 From a small amount of research that was done, there was in fact a Frances
 Gatril from Lincoln County Georgia who won the 1827 GA Land Lottery lot # 31
 in the dist. 135. Frances Gatril then sold the land to another and then it was
 sold to Peter Lamar who then sold it to William A. Tait.

Marion County    }              This Indenture made in to this year of our
Lord One thousand eight hundred forty two between William A. Tait of the
one part and Samuel M. Tait of the other part {?} that in for consideration
of the sum of two hundred dollars in hand paid at and before sealing & delivery
of these presents hath sold bargained and conveyed unto him the said Samuel
M. Tate to his {?} all that tract or parcel of land lying in Stewart County
known by {?} of said county no 103 in the thirty first district to have and
to hold unto him the said Samuel M. Tate all and singular the rights and appurtenance
there belonging in fee simple and I the said William A. Tait do forever warrant
from myself or from my heirs as claimants or the claims of others persons
whomever as {?} whereof I have {?}

Stewart County   }              This Indenture made and entered this tenth
day of December, Eighteen Hundred & Thirty Seven between Benjamin Smith of the
county and State above mentioned and Joseph Smith of the County of Walton
his attorney in fact on the other part and William A. Tait of the county

of Stewart in said State on the other part, that the said Benjamin S. Smith
by his said attorney and in consideration of the sum of One hundred dollars
to him in hand paid by William A. Tate of the county of Stewart at and before
the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt is hereby acknowledged
hath granted bargains and sold and by {?} presents do grant bargain and {?}
unto the said William A.Tate his heirs and {?} all that tract on parcel in
lot of land known and distinguished by No. one hundred and{?} seventh lying
and being in the Thirty First Distinct of Lee originally now Stewart County.
To have and to hold the said Bargained Premises containing one hundred one and
a half acres more or less unto the said William A. Tate his heirs, Executions and
administrations of the said bargained premised.

                             This Indenture made this seventh day of
October in the year of our Lord One Thousand Eight Hundred and thirty
five and of American Independence between William Tate of the County of
Barber and State of Alabama of the one part and part in Pantin Louphries
of the county of Stewart aforesaid of the other part, (?) that the said
William Tate for and in consideration of the sum of Five Hundred dollars
to him in hand paid at and before the selling and delivery of these
presents the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledge that granter bargains
sold and by these presents both grant bargain sell and deliver confirm
and convey unto the said Pantin Louphries his heirs {?}all that tract or
parcel of land and being i the twentieth district of originally Lee now
the county of Stewart and known and distinguished in the {?} of said
district by the number one hundred and forty eight (148)containing two
hundred two half acres be the same more or less.

To have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land unto him the said
Pantin Louphries his heirs and assign to gather with all and singular
the appurtenances{??}giving and his own proper benefit and behold forever
in {?} simple and the said William Tate for himself his heirs executors
and administrating the said bargain premises unto the said Pantin Loumphies
his heirs and assigns will {?} and forever the {?} right and title thereof
against himself and against the claims of all {?}.

In testimony whereof, the said William TATE hath hereunto set his
hand and affixed his seal, the day and year above written.
