W. Nathaniel Raines born 29 Jan 1796 Ga died 29 Jan 1855 Talbotton, Talbot, Ga He was  the son of
 Thomas Raines & Sara Abercrombie, Grandson of John Raines & Amy Goodwin, Charles Abercrombie & Edwina Booth.

He married 28 Oct 1823 Rebecca W. Jackson born 9 Mar 1807 Jones co Ga died 17 May 1862 Talbotton, Talbot, Ga. She was the child
 of Wilkins Jackson & Sara Lamar, Grandchild of Mark Jackson & Martha Warren, John Lamar & Frances F Breedlove

Both are buried in Oak Hill Cemetery, Tabatton, Talbot, Ga. and their graves are featured in the Talbot Co. book.

Wilkins Jackson died 10 Apr 1911  Talbot Co Ga and is buried near his parents. He married Elizabeth Burt "Betty" Dixon 1 May 1861 Muscoogee. 
She was born  23 Nov 1836 Talbot and died Wed. 11 Aug  1909 Talbotton, Talbot, Ga. Her parents are Robert Henry Dixon and Martha A J A 
Marshall Grandparents  Henry Dixon &  Martha Hines, Stephen Marshal and Elizabeth Burt.

Leonidas died 18 Nov 1857 Talbotton, Talbot and is also buried near parents. He married 13 Mar 1856 Marion Co. Nancy Wright.

Lucian died 3 Aug 1860 Talbotton, and is also buried near parents.

1860 He is proven by the will of his uncle Cadwallader when he died and his will mentioned brothers, and their children. Nathaniel 
(Talbot Co.) mentioned and son Wilkins guardian of Lucian, and Thomas.

Antioch Baptist Church , organized in 1829 is southeast of Carsonville Planter's Academy Robert Carson also deeded (April 6, 1842) to Planters Academy, 
an adjoining acre of land next to the Methodist Church. (Land Lot #131, 24th Land District). The Trustees at the time were John Carson, William P. Edwards, 
John Emerson, Nathaniel Raines, Richard B. Rucker and Howell Short. Edwards and Rucker were prominent farmers, slaveholders and owners 
of large acreage (Talbot Co at that time). This early school was incorporated in 1835.
