Would love to hear from descendants of the Robert Duncan/Millia Elrod family.

John Duncan

John Duncan  was born ca 1772, in Ireland.  He died between 1850-1855, probably in Georgia.  John Duncan married Milla/Milly -------, unknown date.  Milla died after 1860 as she is in the 1860 census in Murray Co GA.  I believe her date of birth is probably closer to that suggested in the 1860 (born ca 1782, GA) census than that in the 1850 (born ca 1800, GA) census. Several researchers say that Milla died 1865 in Murray County, but I have not seen any proof of that.

Known children of John: (I suspect there are more, just because of the distance between the children)

    1. Robert, born ca 1802, SC married Malinda "Milla" Elrod, pre 1829, SC died 1850-1870 (of Murray Co GA in 1850)

    2. Martha, born between 1798-1808, SC, married Drury Randolph Hall, she died after 1870, husband died before 1860-Martha is in Murray Co GA with

     her mother and two sons.

Robert Duncan

Robert Duncan (son of John and Millia) was born  ca 1802, SC (possibly Pendleton Co SC).   He died 1850-1870 (of Murray Co GA in 1850) Robert married: Malinda "Milla" Elrod, pre 1829, SC. (she was born ca 1810 SC, died after 1880 and was of Whitfield Co GA then.) One researcher says Robert died 1858, Whitfield Co GA, but I have been unable to verify this.
