Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Sandy Reid - 11/22/99 Want info on HOLCOMB(E) line. Benjamin HOLCOMB died in 1860 while visiting his youngest son, William Jackson, who lived in Whitfield Co., GA. William Jackson HOLCOMB was living with his second wife at time of Benjamin's death. Benjamin was married to a Sarah NICHOLSON, who was 1/2 Cherokee, and a second wife, SHOOK. They lived in Monroe Co., TN. Would like to know the burial site for Benjamin and also info on Wm. Jackson Holcombe family. My line from Benjamin down: Joshua L. (T?), Bennett Gooch, Joshua Thompson Holcomb, born 1867 died 1931.
Deanna Hicks Burnham - 12/13/99 I would like any information reference my grandmother Ama Farris Hicks (Hughes). She was related to a Hollingsworth. She had a brother named Paul who was a POW in WWII and a sister named Arizona. I know she was from north Georgia but not sure where. I would like to know what counties were considered N. Georgia in the late 1800's.
Donna Badgwell - 12/13/99 I am trying to locate John Thomas Badgwell/Bagwell. He was born 1860 died 1921. His uncle was to have killed a man in Ga. so he changed his name from Bagwell to Badgwell. (the man didn' t die).
