Feeble health

To my minor daughter Mary Julia the sum of $100 in current money of the country and also all the bed and bedding owned by her own mother

and hereby appoint my worthy and trusty friend her uncle James M Harland the guardian of the person and property of my said minor

daughter Mary Julia.

The residue of my property both real and personal I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Laura P Humphreys during her widowhood or her natural life.  In the event of her marriage to a second husband then the residue of the property be equally divided between her and her two children.

Beloved wife Laura P Humphreys executrix and my worthy friend Augustin Harris.
