In the name of God Amen, I James Anderson of said state and County being of advanced age and knowing that I must shortly depart from this world deem it right and proper both as respects myself and my farm that I should make a disposition of the property with which kind providence has blessed me.  I therefore make this my last will and testament hereby revoking and annulling all others heretofore made by me.

I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Ann Anderson. I give unto her during her natural life only.  Article 1.  Forty acres of land whereon I now live its the 11th Dist and 3 section it east of said lot #196.  Also all my household and kitchen furniture, plantation tools, one yoke of oxen and waggon, cattle and hogs, one bay mare, and stock of sheep.  Also all the money I may have and notes of hand.  This is to have my minor heirs upon at my wife Ann's death the land and what is left above mentioned at her death sold and divided between my children John Anderson, Martha Anderson, Sarah E Anderson.

Article 2. Also I give to my son Isaac Margaret and Mary John and Martha and Sarah all that may come to me of my fathers estate.  he is by name of Wm Anderson of Baldwin County Georgia to be equally divided between them.

Article 3. I give to Mary Ann minor heir extra one cow and calf, one grey colt, one bead and furniture.

Article 4. I give unto my beloved children one half lot of land in the state of Georgia, Coweta County, the 4th District, 3 Section, #169.  I give unto my son Isaac one half of said lot above mentioned and the other half to the balance of my heirs.

Test: May 25, 1852. James ('x' his mark) Anderson. Witnessed: R B McGaughy, Samuel Minnis, James Fulks.

Proven in December Court, 1852 by Robert B McGaughy, James Fulks, attested by Wm Gordon OWC

Ann ('x' her mark) Anderson attests that she will make an inventory, pay all debts and legacies contained in the will.  December Court, 1852.
