Joseph Dobson, Whitfield County GA
Buried at the side of my beloved wife, at the burying ground Marthe Dogwood Baptist Church.
My half of Lot of land on which I now live, lot #169, 27th Dist, 3rd Section, Whitfield County, devided equally between three of my sons as follows: Henry P Dobson, James W Dobson and Joseph G Dobson. Also give and bequeath my daughter Amy M, wife of G W Ransom, the some of $20 which is to be paid out of the oproceeds of the aforesaid lands. In the absence of the senior son James W Dobson, be not living, then I will and bequeath the interest that I designed for him the said James W Dobson and the two surviving sons Henry P and Joseph G Dobson equally between them, and pay Amy M Ransom the sum of $20 as above.
My present wife Polly A Dobson the following household and kitchen furniture: one sideboard and contents and all of the cooking utensils on the said premises, all of the beds and bedding and bed furniture, all of the standing corn, potatoes and wheat on said premises and all the stock of both hogs and cattle with the exception of one red cow and calf and be it known I Joseph Dobson hath this day appointed Joseph Rodgers executor.
