On register at CSA General Hospital, Charlottesville, VA. Aphoria. Admitted 22 July 1862, sent to general hospital 11 Aug 1862, remarks Lynchburg
Wounded right shoulder at Malvern Hill 28 July 1864
Occupation since 1865: Millwright
Widow: Mary E Scogin Attaway (Nov 1834- 19 Feb 1921), married W R Atttaway 15 Nov 1855, Chattahoochee Co GA.
Both are buried Buena Vista City Cemetery, Marion County GA.
Child: Mary Georgia Attaway (born 12 Apr 1858, GA-30 Dec 1908 Marion Co GA), married David Crye, 2 Feb 1882, Marshall Co AL.
