We the undersigned commissioners is set apart by the purpose of setting apart a 12 month support for the widow of Lewis Hogg, dec'd do certify we have made

the following to wit. 18 Dec 1866

15 --- ---

200 lbs of meat

100 lbs of flour

10 lbs of coffee

5 gal of syrup

12 lbs of lard

1 bed and bedstead and clothing for the same

2 chairs and 1 dinning table

1 set of knives and forks

1 set of plates

1 set of cups and saucers

1 pitcher

1 water pail

1 spider

1 tea kettle

1 dinner pit

1 tray and sifter

1 smoothing iron

total value $130.25

Also for the minor heirs of said Lewis Hogg Decd: Alpha Hogg and Omega, $75 in cash to each of them: $150.00

Further more agreed that the widow pay the expenses of cost on the above return: J M Gill, Wm Gordon, John Whitman, Wm H Turner.  Filed in our office July 1, 1870

(**my note: 1860 census shows no wife, did the census taker leave her off?  Lewis was born about 1801, SC according to the 1860 census)
