The petition of Francis Carroll widow and relict of Thomas Carroll, late of Marion County deceased would respectfully show that Thomas Carroll departed this life on 20 Sept 1874. That at the time of his deceased he was seized and pr--- of an estate real and personal and that said estate both real and personal is not worth exceeding $500. Your petition would further show that said estate is without representation. Your petition attaches an inventory of said estate.
Lot of land #269 in 11th Dist, #270 in said district, #275 in same district all in Marion County, GA. Some very poor pine land. Petitioner would show that he has no personal property except household furniture. Your petition prays the appointment of appraisers in terms of the law in such case made and provided --- in duty bound Your petutuoner will ever pray. Hinton and --- Atty for F Carroll.
