We the appraisers appointed by his honor the Judge of the Court of Ordinary of Marion County to set apart and assign to the widow and
minor children of W H Merritt late of Marion County deceased. Do set apart and assign to the widow (under the extraordinary
circumstances). She being an invalid and needing medical attention all the while the sum of $600.00 and to each of the minor children
seven in number we do give $20 per month.

This is to certify that we the above named apraisers did take the oath required by law before entering upon the above duty this Aug 31, 1875.
