My former slave, Catharine McMichael $200 as a reward to her for her fidelity and kindness to my self and family and I request my family to see

that she is cared for in her old age.

My whole estate be equally divided among my children.

My daughter Margaret Stevens (wife of Dr William B Stevens), to her children free from any debts, liabilities or contracts of their father or any husband my said

daughter may hereafter have.

Susan Frances Evans, Rowan Evins, Sarah Augustus Evins, Mary Lucretia Evans, Zachariah P Evans receive the share of their deceased mother; that

George Evans, my grandson receive nothing further from my estate, being fully convinced that it would not profit him anything to bequeath him any legacy.

Appoint my sons Thomas J McMichael, Seaborn W McMichael and my son in law Thomas L Rogers, as executors.
