The county seat is Dawson. Parrott, Bronwood and Sasser are other towns in Terrell County.

A very special thanks goes out to Betty Johnson, original coordinator for Terrell County (1998-2002), and to Ross Vinson, second coordinator for this site (2003-2010). Their hard work and dedication to gathering and presenting free genealogical information to the public through USGenWeb are highly appreciated, and it is an honor to follow in their footsteps.
