In looking at your records I found J W Tucker a Pvt with this unit. His records indicate that he was wounded 9-17-62 at Sharpsburg, captured 4-29-63 at Chancellorville, captured again at Strasburg on 10-19-64 and sent to Point Lookout Md on 10-24. He died as a POW on 11-25-64. He was a brother to J H Tucker ( John Hampton) also of Co H 13th Ga. But he was not listed in your roster for this regiment. He died on 1-19-63 of pnumonia at Chimborazo Hospital in Richmond. He was my Great-Great Grandfather. Info from Confed. arch, Chap6,File no.17,pg132.

James A Sammons, Private, Panola Rifles, Company H, 13th GA.
I have the records for this man from the Georgia Archives. I think he may be the same person listed as I. Salmon on this list. He enlisted July 8, 1861, was wounded May 4, 1863 in "battles around Fredricksburg" according to his file on microfilm, and died on June 6, 1863 in Hospital #23 in Richmond.

These records were transcribed by Betty and Bernie Johnson from the set of books
Roster of the Confederate Soldiers of Georgia 1861 - 1865
compiled for the State of Georgia by Lillian Henderson.
