This company was organized at Dawson, Ga. Sept. 5, 1861. Marched from near White Post, Va. to Fredericksburg, Va., distance of about one hundred miles, and engaged in battle of Fredericksburg, Va. Dec. 15, 1862. Was engaged in battle on Morris Heights and participated in the marches through northern Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania in 1863.
