Pansy Moore Vaughn Pansy Moore Vaughn of Jackson died Friday, March 3, at the Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 5, in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Awtry officiating. Interment was in the Old Bethel Cemetery. Mrs. Vaughn was born Nov. 18, 1920 in Franklin County, daughter of the late John Manning Moore and Hattie Ada Cothran Moore. She was the widow of Alvin Eugene Vaughn. Mrs. Vaughn was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, Stanley and Cindy Vaughn of Jackson; daughter, Marion Louette Vaughn of Austell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gracie C. Moore of Anderson, SC, Jimmie Lou Moore and Alberta S. Moore, both of Carnesville, Mary Sue Moore of Royston, Mrs. Rufus Vaughn of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Vaughn of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. James Broach of Monroe and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Young of Atlanta; two grandsons; and several nieces and nephews. Sherrell, Wilson, Mangham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Pansy Moore Vaughn, formerly of Buster Brown Road and Leisure Living and recently of Westbury Medical Care Home died Friday, March 3, at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta.
Funeral services were held Sunday, March 5, in Sherrell Memorial Chapel with Rev. Rodney Autry officiating. Interment was in the Old Bethel Cemetery on Old Bethel Road.
Mrs. Vaughn, a 47-year resident of Butts County, was born Nov. 18, 1920 in Franklin County, the youngest of seven children of the late John Manning Moore and Hattie Ada Cothran Moore. She was preceeded in death by her six siblings.
She was the widow of Alvin Eugene "John" Vaughn. Mrs. Vaughn was a member of the Middle River Baptist Church in Carnesville. She faithfully attended Old Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Jackson as her health permitted.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law and grandsons, Stanley and Cindy Vaughn, Morgan Bragg Vaughn and Lee Eugene Vaughn of Jackson; daughter, Marion Louette Vaughn of Austell; sisters and brothers-in-law, Gracie C. Moore of Anderson, SC, Jimmie Lou H. Moore and Alberta S. Moore of Carnesville, Mary Sue S. Moore of Royston, Mrs. Rufus Vaughn and Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Vaughn, all of Jackson, Mr. and Mrs. James H. Broach of Monroe and Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Young of Atlanta; several cousins; more than 60 nieces and nephews; and a host of friends and neighbors.
Pallbearers were grandson, Bragg Vaughn, and nephews, Belton Moore of Atlanta, Marvin Moore of Lithia Springs, David Bentley of Smyrna and Morris Moore and Bennie Moore, both of Carnesville.
Sherrell, Wilson, Mangham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements
