Fort Gaines School of 1905

Ft. Gaines School 1905 - I dated this 1905 as the young ladies in this picture look the same as they look in the basketball picture which is dated 1905 on the basketball.
My grandmother, Anna Whatley, is 4th row last girl on right ( the one sitting beneath the girl standing.) Next to Anna is her sister Kathleen Whatley. The sister, Maggie Whatley, is on the next to the top row - the one that is between two girls just to the left of the fellow with the hat. Third row from bottom - third girl from right is their cousin - Augusta (Gussie) Edwards. Hope you can use these pictures - I have others . My Whatley family was from Henry Co., Ala. but relocated to Ft. Gaines in the late 1890's. Many of them are buried in New Park Cemetery.
