The Walton Cemetery is off Washington Road near Cumberland Drive. It borders the back yard of the home at 1010 Cumberland Dr. However, the cemetery is assessable from the shoulder of Washington Rd with a short walk of less than 25 yards into the woods.
The grounds are surrounded by a fence of hand laid rocks. Historical records reflect there are 4 generations of Walton's there including a Revolutionary War soldier. |
