   Feb. 25th 1796.  r/Feb. 10th 1801.  THOMAS CARR to SAMUEL MAINES, for $70.00, sells 100 acres, bounded by DAVIS, ROBERTSON, HOLLIDAY and JOHN CASSELL, on waters of Germany Creek.

        Oct. 2, 1800.  JASON GARDNER and wife, Sarah, to JAMES STEWART, sells 125 acres part of a 350 acre tract granted to said Gardner in 1769 on Great Kiokee Creek, bounded by MAGRUDER, BOWDRE, REUBEN REYNOLDS and said Stewart.  Price $500.00

        Jan 12, 1796.  THOMAS NAPIER to SAMUEL MAINES for five dollars, sells 25 acres on Greenbriar Creek, part of a 900 acre granted dated Oct. 26, 1795, on MARK JONES line.

        Jan 28 1793.  MARK JONES and wife Elizabeth, to JOEL MABRY for 70 pounds, sell 200 acres on branch of Greenbriar Creek, granted to said Jones by Governor Elbert.

        May 22nd 1799.  JOEL MABRY to SAMUEL MAYNES for 66 pounds, the above tract.

        April 19, 1800.  JAMES GUEST to MATTHEW BURNSIDE, for $60,00, sell 7 1/2 acres on Germany Creek, granted to JOHN HARTSHORN in 1774, sold by him to JOSEPH MENDENHALL and by him to said JAMES GUEST.

        Dec. 11, 1792.  ANDERSON CRAWFORD and wife Rachel, to ROBERT SHAW,  for five pounds, sell 55 acres on Uchee Creek, bounded south by RHODA MERCER.  West by SMITH.  Northwest by WILLIAM TINDALL. Granted to ANDERSON CRAWFORD, Sept. 21, 1792.      

        Feb 12, 1799.  JOHN DAY and wife Ferriby, sell to ROBERT SHAW, 50 acres for $200.00  It being 1/2 of the tract granted to CHARLES SMITH and adj. to the 1/2 that Day's son now lives on.

        Sept. 30th 1800.  JOHN COLE and wife Prussia, to PETER COLEMAN for $750, sell 1/2 of two surveys purchased by said Coleman in partnership with said Cole, 100 acres granted to STEPHEN HEARD.  100 acres granted to WILLIAM BULLOCH, adj.

        March 15, 1800.  EDWARD SAMUEL and wife Elizabeth, of Lincoln County, sell to PETER COLEMAN and JOHN COLE for $1200, a tract of 200 acres on Little River, containing 150 acres, granted to STEPHEN HEARD and sold at auction by the Sheriff of Richmond County, to THOMAS GLASCOCK and by said Glascock in Mar. 1798, with 50 acres adj. on lower side, granted to ROBERT HATCHER.

        March 22nd 1797.  ABRAHAM BOOTHE and wife Susannah, of Lincoln County, to A. TANKERSLEY for $500, sell 130 acres in bend of Little River, adj. Samuel's line.

        Nov. 26th 1800.  ABSOLOM TANKERSLEY and wife Sarah, sell above tract to PETER COLEMAN for $1000.

        Oct. 3rd 1795.  WILLIAM APPLING and wife Martha, for five shillings, give five acres to Trustees for use of an Academy.

        July 6th 1795.  JAMES  HAMILTON and wife Anne, to the Commissioners of the Columbia Academy, for five shillings, a tract of land for the use of the Academy.

       Feb. 12th 1799.  THOMAS KINDRICK and wife Theodate, to ROBERT SHAW for $200, sell 48 acres on Uchee Creek, granted to JOHN TINDALL, Sept. 5th 1798, bought by RICHARD HILL, STEPHEN DAY and said Tindall.

        Feb. 12 1800.  MILBY MAGEE to MARTHA ROUSE, for $125, sells 50 acres granted to HENRY HAND, Dec. 2 1799, on Danelly's Branch and James MULLINS' line.

        1799.  WILLIAM BULLOCH and wife Harriet, of Chatham County, to JOHN COLE and PETER COLEMAN, for $300, sell 200 acres, bounded by Little River, Boothe's land, STEPHEN HEARD and JOHN HOWARD.

        Mar. 11, 1801.  "Many year ago James BELCHER sold to IGNATIUS FEW, 380 acre on Little River, in Parish of St. Paul, granted me April 4, 1775" ----- deed missing. Belcher signs quit claim.

       Feb. 20th 1796.  Secretary Powell to GEORGE SMITH for 50 pounds, 100 acres, bounded south by Briar Creek, SE by JESSE MATTHEWS, North by HENRY HAND.

        May 12, 1801.  Power of Attorney from DAVID HODGE to RICHARD BULLOCK, to collect his French-Indian war pension for him.

       April 6, 1801. r/May 13, 1801. JAMES MOSSMAN of Chatham County, Exr, of will of JAMES MCKAY, deceased, sells to PETER CRAWFORD at auction 500 acres on branch of Kiokee Creek, granted to McKay, Nov. 1774.

       Sept. 6th 1800.  r/May 18th 1801.  ZEPHENIAH ATHY and wife Lucy, sell to JONOTHAN WOOD for $200, a 56 acre tract, part of 400 acres, on both sides of Savage Creek.

       Feb. 26th 1801.  r/June 1st 1801.  ALEXANDER MOSS of Wilkes County, to WILLIAM GARRELL for 300 pounds sterling, 590 acres on Germany Creek.

        July 6 1801.  r/same date.  Bill of Sale.  JOHN G. WILLINGHAM to WILLIAM DUNN, ABRAM FRANKLIN and ALEXANDER GARDNER, wagon and teams, gears.  One sorrel horse, two bay mares, two sorrel dittos.  Price $350.00.

        Mar. 4, 1801.  r/July 6, 1801.  EDWARD TELFAIR of Savannah for $1200, sells to WILLIAM DUNN, 300 acres, bounded on all sides by vacant lands at time of survey.  granted to MICHAEL ILLY, Oct. 4th 1774, conveyed to WILLIAM CANDLER, Aug. 2, 1796 by him to Telfair, Jan. 19, 1780.

       Mar. 18 1800.  r/July 6th 1801. NATHAN HARRIS sells for $250.00 to SAMUEL PAYNE, 100 acres ion Little River, originally granted to THOMAS CHADWICK, Oct. 4, 1774.  Transferred to REUBEN DYER on Aug 10, 1778, then said Harris, July 1, 1791 at auction.

       Oct. 6, 1787. r/July 6, 1801.  WILLIAM WRIGHT and wife Mary, of Richmond County (later Columbia County), to DANIEL STURGIS for 200 pounds, a 300 acres tract on Great Kiokee Creek, whereon Wright doth now live, bounded by land of widow APPLING, NATHAN HARRIS and JOSHUA BRADLEY.  Granted to Wright by Gov. Elbert 1785.

        Sept 4, 1793.  r/July 7th 1793.  THOMAS GREER, SR., to WILLIAM WALTON for 250 pounds, sells 400 acres.  Gives surveyors points, but no location.

       Jan. 31st 1800. r/July 7th 1801.  JOHN TABOR JR., to WALTER DRANE, 57 acres on Big Kiokee, adj. JOSHUA FULLER, part of a tract granted to MARY EATON at time of her widowhood.  (she later married Edward UPTON).

       Dec. 22nd 1799.  r/July 7th 1801.  DAVID STANFORD to EDMOND SAMUEL, for $90 a 50 acre plot originally granted to ROBERT HATCHER, on Little River.

        Mar. 6th 1798.  THOMAS GLASCOCK, of Richmond County, Esquire, to Edmond SAMUEL for $230, a tract of 150 acres on Little River, originally granted to STEPHEN HEARD, sold at auction by the Sheriff of Richmond County, Dec. 2, 1794, to Glascock, at the suit of Clay and Habersham vs. Rae, Elbert & Telfair.

        Apr. 10th 1801.  r/July 8th 1801.  JOSHUA GRINAGE mortgages to GEORGE WOODRUFF for $3000, two tracts of land originally granted to Sir PATRICK HOUSTON, Oct. 4, 1774. take from by confiscation.  Bounded by ABSOLOM BEDELL, JACOB GREATHOUSE, JOHN SIDWELL, JONOTHAN SELL and ROBERT MCCLUNG.  (These people were all Quakers and above described tract was in Wrightsborough Township)

        Feb. 6, 1799.  r/May 21, 1803.  JANE CULBREATH to THOMAS MOORE, for $60, sells 33 1/3 acres being her dower rights, on waters of Little Kiokee Creek, adj. said Moore.

        Feb. 26th 1801.  r/May 22nd 1801.  THOMAS AERS (AYRES) to JAMES CARTLEDGE, for $130, a tract of 44 acres on Little River part of a 200 acre grant to WILLIAM CANDLER, Nov. 1, 1774, conveyed by Candler to Telfair and by Telfair to Ayres.

        Jan. 5 1799.  r/May 23, 1801.  JESSE SANDERS, JR and wife Annis, to YANCEY SANDERS for $600, sell 200 acres originally granted to ELIZABETH FRAZIER Jan. 15 1785 and by will of said Elizabeth.  (last line unreadable)  (a daughter married George CHISHOLM, Sept. 25tgh 1795)  Land bounded by GOLDING, GALPHIN, EDMOND CARTLEDGE and vacant lands.

        May 23, 1801.  r/ same date.  Power of Attorney GEORGE LEITCH (or LEITH) of New Providence, Bahama Islands, appoints WILLIAM STEPHENS, attorney, act for himself, Elizabeth (MOORE) LEITH, his wife and Mary YONGE, widow of HENRY YONGE "Whereas, Mary Powell, wife of JAMES EDWARD POWELL or Savannah, deceased, by her Last Will and Testament, devised unto her husband (having power to do the same) two lots in Trustees Gardens in Savannah, and 500 acres, about three miles from the City of Augusta (originally granted to JAMES MULLRYNE and JOSIAH TATTNELL), which lands were in trust for her use.  They were left to said Powell, for his natural life.  After the death of Powell, the devised said property should go to Elizabeth Moore Leith, (then the wife of PHILLIP MOORE), and Mary Yonge, widow of Henry Yonge. WILLIAM STEPHENS given instructions to sell.  This was highly irregular, since wives had no power to control property and so had nothing to leave anyone, and did not make wills.  A special ruling must have been made by the courts in this case.  Although she is referred to as being from Savannah, the will is not on record there.

       Feb. 11th 1800.  r/May 23rd 1801.  HENRY SMITH to ISAAC BARBARES, for $300, a 50 acre plot on Big Briar, originally granted to HENRY HAND, JR at mouth of creek where John Smith did live, adj. to THOMAS JONES place.

        July 26, 1792.  May 23, 1801. JOHN SWINT of Wilkes County, to JOHN SHOWS for 35 pounds, sells 100 acres on Sweetwater Creek, granted to said Swint, Aug. 5th 1785, by Governor Elbert.

       Mar. 4th 1799.  r/May 30, 1801.  EDWARD TELFAIR to THOMAS AYRES for $600 a trace of 200 acres adj. to ROBERT GRAVES, originally granted to WILLIAM CANDLER, Nov. 1, 1774 on Little River.

        June 1, 1801.  r/same date.  Deed of Gift.  GEORGE RAY to son BENJAMIN RAY a tract now in son's possession on headwaters of Whiteoak Creek, bounded by WINNY PINSON and vacant lands.  Originally granted to EZEKIEL OFFUTT, Sept 20, 1787.

        Oct. 8th 1785.  r/ no date.  RANDALL RAMSEY to THOMAS MOORE, for 375 pounds, a 600 acre tract granted to said Ramsey, May 7th on Culbreath's branch and Little Kiokee Creek.  (May 7, 1775)

       Aug. 28th 1800.  r/June 3rd 1801  ROBERT CRAWFORD to BENJAMIN BLEDSOE, for $650, sells 200 acres, including 15 acres bought from JOSHUA VAUGHN on Little Kiokee Creek. (orig granted EDWARD MAXWELL)

        June 12th 1796.  r/June 2nd 1801.  NEHEMIAH DUNN of Washington County, to DAVID LANGSTON, for $130, sells 150 acres on Greenbriar Creek, granted said Dunn on Dec. 18, 1795

        July 25th 1788.  r/July 2nd 1801.  CHARLES MCDONALD of Charleston, S.C., to JAMES MCDONALD of Richmond County, for 100 pounds, land in Wrightsborough, as follows:  150 acres on Germany Creek, sold to said Charles by NEHEMIAH DUNN, Oct. 8, 1780.  Lot No. 64 in village of Wrightsborough, sold by WILLIAM MCCLUNG, Nov. 3, 1785.  Lot No. 60 in village of Wrightborough, sold by Col. WILLIAM FERRELL, Sept. 8th 1784.  Lot No. 41 in village of Wrightsborough, sold by EDWARD MURPHY, Feb 18th 1785.  Lot No. 75 in village of Wrightsborough, sold by NEHEMIAH DUNN, Oct. 8th 1785.

       Dec. 24th 1791.  r/June 3, 1801.  JAMES MCDONALD and wife Jane, to WALKER DRUMMOND, for 60 pounds, a 150 acre tract in Wrightsborough Township on Germany Creek, granted to BENJAMIN DUNN, July 3rd 1770, conveyed to him by Deed of Gift, to NEHEMIAH DUNN, Oct. 8, 1785 and to said James by deed July 25, 1788.

        May 18th 1799.  r/June 3rd 1801.  ANDERSON CRAWFORD, Sheriff, to DAVID LANGSTON, for $200, sells at auction, the property of CHARLES SPAULDING, consisting of 200 acres on Germany Creek, originally granted to TIMOTHY RICKETSON and including an old plantation known as Dunn's Old Place.

        Oct. 25, 1799.  r/June 3, 1801. JOHN STITH and wife Elizabeth to DAVID LANGSTON, for $20, sell 41 acres on Germany Creek, part of a 600 acre tract granted to GILES CARTER.

       Apr. 20 1801.  r/June 4, 1801.  WILLIAM WILKINS, Esquire and Sealy, his wife, to BENJAMIN BLEDSOE for $50, sell 23 acres on waters of Uchee Creek, granted to Wilkins Nov. 26 1800 and adj. to CRAWFORD, TINDALL and ZACHRY.

        Sept 18th 1800. r/June 4, 1801. BENJAMIN BLEDSOE And wife Sealy for $100 sells 50 acres on Uchee Creek, originally granted to EDWARD MAXWELL,

       Mar. 19, 1799.  r/June 5 1801. JOHN SMITH to ELIJAH SMITH for 20 pounds, sell 50 acre on north side of Briar Creek, adj. HENRY SMITH's land, granted to HENRY HAND, JR, May 24, 1786.

        Dec. 20, 1800  r/June 5, 1801. JOHN LANGSTON to DAVID LANGSTON for $500, sells 300 acres on Germany Creek.  Bounded by BURNSIDE, DAVIE, RAY and FLINN.  Granted to said Langston Mar. 5 1800.

        June 1, 1800.  r/June 5, 1801.  JOHN TINDALL and wife Mary, to BENJAMIN BLEDSOE for $20, sell 241 acres on waters of Little Kiokee, bounded by ABEDNEGO WRIGHT, WILLIAM LAUGHLIN, JR., STEPHEN DAY and WILLIAM ZACHRY.

       Nov. 17 1792.  r/June 5, 1801.  WALTER DRUMMOND to DAVID LANGSTON, for 60 pounds, a 150 acre tract on Germany Creek, originally granted to BENJAMIN DUNN, July 3, 1770.

       Aug. 21, 1777.  r/June 6, 1801. JOHN HERD to EDWARD TELFAIR, Esquire, for five shillings, 300 acres on Little River, granted to Herd on Dec. 6, 1774.

        July 7, 1801.  r/ July 9, 1801.  GEORGE GRAVES, Practitioner of Physic, of the City of Augusta, and his wife Polly, to JOHN FITZGERALD, planter, of Columbia County for $350, sell 100 acres on waters of Uchee Creek, bounded by CALDWELL, BEALLE and said GRAVES.  Part of a 1000 acre tract granted JAMES GRIERSON and sold to said Graves by the Commissioner of Confiscated lands.

       Oct. 18th 1800.  r/July 9th 1801.  DANIEL LOFLIN and wife Anne, of Lincoln County to WILLIAM BULLIN for 200 pounds, a plantation consisting of 190 acres bounded by RICHARD MEADOWS Land and Meadow's Branch.

       Dec. 2, 1794.  r/July 9, 1801.  JAMES RICHARDS, Sheriff of Richmond County, to THOMAS GLASCOCK, for 150 pounds at auction, 150 acres formerly the property of RAY, ELBERT and GRAHAM, on Little River.  Originally granted to STEPHEN HEARD, seized on suit of CLAY and HABERSHAM vs. RAY, ELBERT and GRAHAM.

        May 29, 1797.  r/July 9, 1801.  THOMAS CLAYTON to DAVID STANFORD for $65, sells 50 acres, originally granted to ROBERT HATCHER on Little River  Millie CLAYTON relinquishes dower.

        Jan 28, 1800.  r/July 9, 1801.  Dr. MICHAEL BURKE, Physician, of the City of Savannah, and Elizabeth, his wife, for $2500 sell to CHAPPELL BONNER, the plantation known as Mount Hope, containing 550 acres bounded by GLOVER, CRITTENDON and Larrimore's old field, now occupied by WILLIAM COUSINS on the Savannah River with all houses, etc.

        Oct 6, 1800.  r/Dec. 3rd 1800. EDWARD TELFAIR, Esquire, of Savannah, to JOHN COLE, for $1428, a tract of 350 acres, 300 of which was granted to JOHN HEARD, Dec. 6th 1774, conveyed to said Telfair, Aug 2nd 1777.  One a re-survey, tract to contain 350 acres.

        Nov. 6, 1800.  r/Dec. 8 1800.  BENJAMIN BLEDSOE and wife Sally, to JOHN TINDALL for $100, a 36 acre tract, part of a 200 acres grant to EDWARD MAXWELL, on Uchee Creek, adj. BLEDSOE, COLVARD and TINDALL.

        Aug. 23, 1800.  r/Dec 8 1800. BIRD BOOKER TINDALL to WILLIAM TINDALL, JR, for $150, tract of 160 acres in Columbia County originally granted to JOHN TINDALL, SR., adj. land granted to JAMES ZACHRY.

       June 1st 1790. r/Dec 8 1800.  WILLIAM CHANDLER NORMENT to JOHN LAMKIN, for $500, sells 150 acres on both sides of Big Kiokee Creek, being 1/2 the 300 acre granted to ANDREW McLAIN, sold to said Norment by the Sheriff of Richmond County.

        Dec. 29, 1800.  r/same date.  Deed of Gift. JOSHUA WYNNE to WILLIAMSON WYNNE, "three negroes: Aylvey, about 17 years old, purchased from SAMUEL BOWDRE, ISAAC and ANNA BOOKER, children of my house wench".

        April 26th 1800.  r/Jan 30th 1801.  Sale of Relinquishment. DAVID ROBERSON, SR., and wife Eleanor; WILLIAM WHITE, SR. ROBERT and JOSEPH WHITE, Adms of estate of JOSEPH WHITE, deceased, and attorneys, for Daniel DAUGHERTY of Cabarrus County, N.C., Rebecca, widow of said White; Polly, wife of said Robert, and William WHITE, JR., parties of the first part, to WILLIAM COWLES, of Richmond County, for $6000, sell all land on a branch of Briar Creek, known as Sweetwater, containing 5000 acres, bounded south by HENRY HAND; northwest by CARTER, ROWLAND and SWINT.  Northeast by vacant lands.  East by firm of ROBERSON and WHITE.  Southeast by vacant land, granted to said White and Roberson by Gov. George Matthews, Jan. 2nd 1795.  (the land was petitioned for 1784 or 1785 for the purpose of erecting an iron works, and allowed with the provision that they produce iron inside a given period.  Other inducements were that the owners and workmen were to be from from taxes. Final grant as above.

       Jan 7, 1800.  r/same date. Power of Attorney.  DANIEL DAUGHERTY of Cabarrus County, N.C. appoints Robert and Joseph WHITE as attorneys to act for him in the matter of real estate, belonging JAMES WHITE deceased.

        Oct. 18, 1800.  r/now shown.  WILLIAM GARRALD and wife Elizabeth to JOS. COOPER for $525. Sell 150 acres on Germany Creek and Little River, originally granted to WILLIAM MCFARLAND, May 4th 1773, adj. MOSSMAN's land.  Purchased by MARGARET SHIELDS,  (widow of John), May 10th 1789  Sold to ROBERT MCCORKLE and by him to said Garrald, Jan 3, 1800.

       Jan 7th 1800.  r/Feb 9, 1801.  DANIEL ELAM, planter, to JOHN WINFIELD, for $750, sells 200 acre on Greenbriar Creek, adj. EDWARD BUGG, SAMUEL MAYNES, EDWARD TALFAIR and NEHEMIAH DUNN.  Originally granted to WILLIAM McFARLAND, May 4, 1773, joining Mossman's land.  Purchased by MARGARET SHIELDS, May 10, 1789.  Sold to ROBERT McCORKLE.

        Nov. 13th 1786.  r/Aug. 23 1799.  JOSEPH JACKSON of Wilkes County and Mary, his wife, to JOHN EMBREE for 150 pounds, sells 250 acres in Wrightsborough Township on Upton Creek.  Originally granted to THOMAS JACKSON by Sir James Wright, July 3, 1770, said Joseph being the only son and heir of Thomas.  Mary relinquishes dower. Witness:  DANIEL WILLIAMS, ABRAHAM PERKINS and JESSE EMBREE.

        August Term of Inferior Court 1796 .   r/Aug. 24, 1799.  GEORGE NAYLOR and JOHN HOLLAND, assignment:  Said George was involved in a law suit "Naylor vs Crookshanks" - attachment.  Jury:  BENJAMIN KING, ELIAS LAZENBY, HUGH BLAIR, DAVID STANFORD, THOMAS STANFORD, JOHN SUTHERLAND, SOLOMON ELLIS, JAMES WRIGHT, JOHN BEALLE, JOHN DORSETT, THEODORE DORSETT and THOMAS BRIGHTWELL, Found for plaintiff, $2,590. with interest from December 15, 1796 and costs.  (the jury may have been a little biased.  Naylor married the Dorsett's aunt Harriett)  On Aug 24 1799, Naylor assigned his judgement over to JOHN HOLLAND.

        Aug 26, 1799. Deed of Gift.  Thomas Moore to MARTHA BENNING with love and affection one Negro girl, Silvey and another Abby.

        Apr. 12th 1799.  r/Aug 26th 1799.  Deed of Gift.  DAVID HARRIS, with goodwill and affection to daughter Polly, a Negro boy Jack, and negro girl Fanny. To son Edward, Negro male, Tom.

        May 18th 1799.  r/Aug. 26th 1799.  ANDERSON CRAWFORD, Sheriff, for $400, sells to Capt. JOHN SAVAGE (at auction, property of RICHARD WHITE), two Negroes, Nancy, and old woman and Grace, a girl.

        Aug. 27th 1799.  Bill of Sale.  ANDERSON CRAWFORD, Sheriff, sells property of RICHARD WHITE, at auction.  SOLOMON MARSHALL purchases two negroes, Emmanuel and Shadrack for $560.

        Sept. 19th 1785.  r /Aug. 27th 1799.  Commissioners of Confiscated Land (HUGH LAWSON, HEPWORTH CARTER and ABRAHAM RAVOT) sell at auction, the confiscated lands of JAMES GRIERSON.  High bidder, REUBEN COLEMAN at 535 pounds, five shilling, buys 750 acres in Wrightsborough Township, on Little River, with all improvements.

        Dec. 3rd 1797.  r/Aug. 28th 1799.  JOSHUA LANDERS to JAMES WEST for 55 lbs. a tract on Little River containing 100 acres originally granted to ROBERT LOCKRIDGE.

        Dec. 16th 1796.  r/Aug. 28th 1799.  JOHN L. DIXON to BASIL JONES for $416, a 119 acre tract on Greenbriar Creek, bounded by said Jones, ELIAS JONES, DENHAM's land, WILLIAM BECKHAM and JOHN COBBS. Dixon was living in Jefferson County.

        Jan. 30th 1799.  r/Aug 29th 1799.  BENJAMIN FINNEY to LITTLETON YARBOROUGH, for 100 pounds, a 100 acre tract on Uchee Creek, known as Perry's Old Place, bounded by WILLIAM BEALLE, JOHN RAMSEY and MOSSMAN.  ANNE FINNEY relinquishes dower.

        Jan 30th 1799.  r/Aug. 29th 1799.  JOHN SANDERS to ISAAC COOPER for 21 lbs sells 52 acres on Cane Creek, whereon said Cooper now lives, originally RAE's land, bounded on SW by SANDERS, formerly the THOMAS STAPLER tract.

        Jan. 5th 1797.  r/Aug. 30th 1799.  SAMUEL MAINES and wife Elizabeth, to WILLIAM JONES for $70, a 133 tract on waters (acre) of Germany Creek, bounded by JOHN DAVIS, DAVID ROBERSON, A. HOLLOWAY (HOLLIDAY) and CASSELS.  Elizabeth relinquishes dower.

        May 3, 1791.  r/Aug. 30 1799.  JAMES MCDONALD to JAMES BEALLE for 50 pounds, sells 200 acres, formerly in Richmond County, but now in Columbia County, on waters of Little River, granted to said McDonald, Feb. 14th 1785.

        Feb. 5th 1799.  r/Aug. 30th 1799.  MAULDEN AMOS to REUBEN DAVIS for 48 pounds, (equal to $205.71 and five mille), 100 acres on Upton Creek, originally granted to NATHANIEL JACKSON by him to WILLIAM SMITH, by him to said AMOS, adj. Amos land and JACOB BULL, deceased.  Also 37 acres granted to WILLIAM SMITH, May 16 1798 and conveyed to AMOS.

        Apr. 18 1899.  r/Aug. 30th 1799.  JAMES BROWN, his mother, Anne, and his wife Elizabeth of Burke County, sell to JOHN CONNER for 135 Spanish milled dollars, 100 acres on Cane Creek and Little River, originally granted to Peter Sallin?

        Aug. 30th 1799.  r/Aug 30th 1799.  ANDERSON CRAWFORD, Sheriff, to WILLIAM BECKHAM guardian of THOMAS COBBS, a minor, for $65, tract of 119 acres seized as property of JOHN L. DIXON on suit of THOMAS COBBS, Esquire, on Greenbriar Creek.

        Dec. 28th 1793.  r/ Aug 30th 1799.  ALEXANDER SMITH to WILLIAM DRANE, for 60 pounds, 100 acres on Great Kiokee Creek, bounded by land vacant at time of survey.

        Feb. 28th 1799.  r/Aug 30th 1799.  EDWARD UPTON and wife Mary to WALTER DRANE for $200 a tract of 45 acres on Big Kiokee Creek, part of a 250 acre grant May 12, 1773 by Sir James Wright to MARY UPTON (formerly Mary EATON)

        Apr. 1st 1797.  r/Sept. 5th 1799.  BENJAMIN OWENS and wife Hannah, to ISAAC COOPER for 22 pounds, tract of 87 1/2 acres on fork of the Lick Branch, granted said Owen, Sept. 20th 1787.

        Mar. 30th 1799.  r/Sept 6th 1799.  JAMES DANELLY to CLAIBORNE NEWSOME, for $600, a 250 acres tract, part of two tracts:  150 acres granted to Danelly, July 5, 1787; 200 acres contiguous on Trading Road, granted Feb. 6 1799.

        Nov. 19th 1798.  r/Sept. 7th 1799.  LOVELESS SAVAGE and wife Elizabeth, to CHARLES DAWSON for $30, a 64 acre tract originally granted to ANN WOOD, Feb. 4th 1785 on waters of Michael's (or Germany's) creek.

        Oct. 20th 1798.  r/Sept. 7, 1799.  WILLIAM APPLING and wife Martha, to PATRICK CARTEN (or CARTER) for $25, a parcel of land near the Academy and Courthouse lands in the town of Applington, containing one acres. (Now Appling)

        June 13th 1799.  r/Sept. 7th 1799.  JAMES ROSS to JOSEPH SCOTT for $20.00, 11 acres originally surveyed for said Ross, Dec. 5th 1798.  Bounded by JOHN BINION, JAMES MCKAY and said Ross.

        Jan 28th 1799.  r/Sept 7th 1799.  WALTER DRANE to ANNE DAVIS, for $150, a 72 acre tract on Big Kiokee Creek, bounded SW by Drane.  NW by DAVIS, granted to Drane by Gov. Irwin of Georgia.

        June 10th 1799.  r/Sept. 7th 1799.  JAMES ROSS to JOSEPH MILLER for $50, tract of 84 acres in Wrightsborough bounded south and east by land granted to ANNE STUBBS, and Hixon's land.  West by McKAY estate.
