All other sides vacant. Sold at auction as confiscated land purchased by JAMES STALLINGS and sold by him to said Moore.
March 15th 1802. r/same date. JOHN CASTLE, JOHN DAVIS, JACOB GREATHOUSE and WILLIAM HOLDEN of Columbia County and CATHERINE JONES of Warren County, heirs and distributees of JACOB GREATHOUSE, deceased, sign quit-claim to 45 acres in favor of ABRAHAM PERKINS, also an heir.
Jan 15th 1798. r/Mar 16th 1802. LEWIS GARDNER to GREY BYNAM of Stokes County, N.C., 150 acre tract which MARY CARMICHAEL had given to her children, Joseph, Abner, Elizabeth and Peggy. Lewis GARDNER having married said Mary, sells said land for 100 cents and signs quit claim for himself and heirs.

DAVID MAXWELL and THOMAS HAYNES, Exrs. estate of THOMAS HAYNES to LEONARD SMITH and JOHN MORAN, for $743.04 sells 238 acres on waters of Uchee Creek, 200 acres of which was granted to WILLIAM SIMMS and by him sold to ANTHONY HAYNES, balance granted to J. March 20th 1802. r/May 27 1802. THOMAS YOUNG of Savannah to JOHN BEALLE, for $2,250, sells 500 acres granted to said Young, Oct 4 1774, adj. DAVID BOYD at time of survey.
Apr 6 1802. r/May 30 1802. Sheriff ISAAC WILLINGHAM, Esquire, to GAZAWAY DAVIS, merchant and JOHN E. ANDERSON, Attorney: CLEMENTIUS DAVIS having died intestate and possessed of 3,119 1/4 acres, said land sold at auction Apr 6 1802. Davis and Anderson admns. were high bidders at $8,000. Land consisted of 150 acre on Great Kiokee Creek at falls thereof, originally granted to LEONARD CLAIBORNE, confiscated and sold to CLEMENTIUS DAVIS in 1782. 350 acres granted to Claiborne and sold after confiscation to JOHN WALTON and JOHN GLENN. Sold to said Davis by ROBERT WALTON, Oct 5, 1786. 850 acres granted to Claiborne on Little Kiokee Creek, purchased by ISAAC WOOD, et al, sold to CLEMENTIUS DAVIS (date omitted).
March 25 1802. r/June 2nd 1802. ABRAHAM JONES to ELIAS WELLBOURNE for $480, sells 120 acres known as the "Old Hall Tract" adj. JOHN CHANNAULT (This is a very popular name for plantations in Columbia County, there being at least 3)
May 30 1797. r/June 9 1802. Deed of Trust. WATERS DUNN, SR to WILLIAM DUNN, four negro slaves in trust for MILLY SATTERWHITE wife of WILLIAM SATTERWHITE and now in her possession. At her death, slaves and their increase to be divided between her children: Sally, William, Thomas, Betsy, Nancy and Polly, or the survivors of them.

GEORGE MOYE and wife, Sary; JOHN BRADBERRY and wife Elizabeth, ANN BRADBERRY, for $120, sell to LUCY BRADBERRY, 50 acres our proportionate share of land of our late father and father in law, HENRY BRADBERRY. Total acreage 104, this day transferred to heirs of JOHN COLLIER.

Apr 30 1802. r/June 16 1802. Deed of Gift. SABRA DAWSON for love and affection for grandson WILLIAM ARRINGTON BUGG, give him a 250 acre tract, surveyed for Parris June 2 1769.
Apr 30th 1802. r/June 16th 1802. ZEPHENIAH ATHA to HICKS ELLIS for $275. Sells 50 acres deeded by DREDZIL PACE to THOMAS GRIFFIN and by him to said Atha, Feb 24th 1800 being part of a 200 acre grant to JOHN PARHAM in 1774 on Red Creek.

July 13 1801. r/July 8 1802. Deed of Gift. GEORGE RAY to son WILLIAM RAY, 100 acres on waters of Kiokee Creek, originally granted to JACOB JONES.
Nov 27th 1790. r/July 8 1802. FRANCIS DANELLY and wife Elizabeth, of Hancock County, SAMUEL BRADY and wife Mary, Thomas BRADY and wife Margaret, to JOHN DARSEY for 25 pounds, 50 acres part of tract granted to WILLIAM CASTLEBERRY, SR., by him sold to WILLIAM MANGHAM on waters of Great Kiokee Creek, near Claiborne's.

July 20th 1778. r/Aug 5 1802. THOMAS ANSLEY and wife Rebecca, to JAMES BATTEN for 450 pounds a 100 acres tract on Germany Creek, adj. the corner line of the 100 acres given to BENJAMIN ANSLEY by said Thomas, out of an original survey of 200 acre granted to THOMAS ANSLEY By King George III by patent dated Nov. 6th 1770. (Benjamin Ansley sold his tract to Benjamin Few later). Also a parcel containing 130 acres on Germany Creek, adj. JONOTHAN SELL, IGNATIOUS FEW and ANSLEY land. Originally granted to WILLIAM FARMER by King George, July 30 1770 and sold to ANSLEY, February 6 1775. Also five acre on said creek, surveyed for JOHN EMMITT, July 3, 1770, sold to JACOB SMITH, May 4 1771, by him to Ansley, Feb 6 1775. Also a six acre parcel adj. JONOTHAN SELL on the edge of swamp, granted Sell by the King July 30, 1770 and sold to Ansley, Aug 1, 1774.
July 5 1802. r/Aug 7 1802. Power of Attorney. DAVID ROSS of Cumberland County, Virginia to GEORGE HOLLEMAN of Goochland County, VA., said David having matters of importance to attend to in S.C. and Georgia, appoints said Holleman, Attorney to settle with the representatives of THOMAS MERIWETHER, deceased, for slaves purchased from him by Ross, who proved and obtained their freedom by due course of law in Richmond County, together with all the cost incurred in recovering certain slaves, stolen and seduced from Ross in Goochland County by a woman called the widow Clarkston in 1789. Also to dispose of by sale militia certificate issued by the State of Georgia, to the amount of 5000 pounds. Holleman is also authorized to sell lands in Georgia, if a suitable price can be agreed upon and to receive certain lands upon the Altamaha River which are to be retained. Schedule attached.
1. To obtain from representatives of THOMAS MERIWETHER 1286 pounds, 18 shillings, one pence (has documents to substantiate claims)
2. To recover slaves stolen from "The Neck" plantation in 1789 by widow Clarkston. Said widow sometimes lives in Georgia and sometimes in South Carolina.
3. To recover from SEABORN JONES, Attorney, Esquire, certificates and public securities amounting to 5000 pounds, 3 shillings and 11 1/2 pence.
4. To recover from SEABORN JONES, any balance due me from money received on my account.
5. To settle with Col JAMES HAMILTON for such collections as he has made, with his statement of taxes, debts, etc.
6. To investigate title of my land in Georgia and settle taxes on my Altamaha lands. (William Clarkston married Martha Pledge 1761)

July 23 1801. r/Aug 3 1802. JOHN DAVIS, JACOB GREATHOUSE and WILLIAM HOLDER of Columbia County; CATHERINE JONES and ABRAHAM PERKINS of Warren County, all distributees of JACOB GREATHOUSE, deceased, relinquish to JOHN CASTLE, one of the heirs, 50 acres, part of estate of the late Greathouse.

Dec 26 1800. r/Sept 2 1802. WiLLIAM BARNETT and wife Mary, to NATHANIEL BENTON for $1000, sells 200 acres granted to JAMES PICKETT Dec 11 1779, sold by him to Barnett. Also another tract granted to Barnett June 3 1785, on waters of Little Kiokee Creek.
June 9 1802. SOLOMON ELLIS and wife Mary, to JOHN PEARRE for $274, sells plantation, containing 200 acres originally granted to Mr. Canler? and sold to said Ellis. Bounded by ROSEBOROUGH land, NATHANIEL BENTON, RICHARD SHACKLEFORD and said Pearre.
May 11 1802. r/Sept 3 1802. JOHN GRIFFIN, Esquire, of Wilkes County, to THOMAS CARR, power of attorney: Whereas, there has been a judgement obtained against Benjamin and Thomas FEW, and on which there is now an appeal pending. THOMAS CARR given the authority to handle matters concerning this land, sells above land to Carr, 200 acre for $100.

Apr 10 1802. r/Sept 9 1802. EDWARD TELFAIR of Savannah to JAMES HAMILTON for $2342.50, sells 468 1/2 acres on Germany Creek, bounded at time of survey by THOMAS LYNN (now BINION's land) TEMPLETON, JAMES CONE, MCFARLAND (now FULLER land). Granted to William Chandler July 7 1774 and conveyed to said Telfair, Jan 10 1780.
