Johnnie, as he was called, was killed by a run-a-way horse jumping up into the wagon and causing internal injuries which lead to his death. He was the son of James Russell "Ruffin" Hudson & Anise Delilah "Lila" Beckham Hudson. Johnnie's grave has no marker other than a blank concrete slab covering the grave.
