Preston Family Cemetery
Preston Family Cemetery, Crawford County, Georgia. (Surveyed by Doug Preston, gggrandson of David) on 6 January 2005. (Directions to the cemetery provided by Robin Brown, Albany, Georgia).
Directions to the cemetery: Coming from Reynolds, Georgia on highway 128, go to
the Indian Agency historical marker just after you cross the Flint River into
Crawford County, Georgia. From the Agency marker go 1.7 miles and turn in the
dirt road on the right (Mailbox #3884 Wornum). The cemetery is about
50 yards just as you go into the tree line on the left.
Coming from Roberta: In Robert go to the intersection of US 341 and Ga 128. Take 128 South for 3.8 miles turn on the dirt road to the left (Mailbox on the left #3884 Wornum). The Cemetery is about 50 yards just as you go into the tree line on the left.
GPS L GPS Location: N32. degrees 41.381 minutes W084.
Degrees 04.035 minutes Elevation: 496 feet
(The Cemetery is 148.3 Miles from my home in Abbeville, Henry County, Alabama)
About 20 yards past the Preston Cemetery is what appears to be a black cemetery
with about 30 graves inside a chain link fence.
