This Indenture, made this the tenth day of December of the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two between J. B. Bearden of the County of Crawford of one part & H. Locklair of Crawford County the other part. Witnessth that the said J.B. Bearden, for & in consideration of the sum of four hundred & fifty bushels of corn, one hay horse, one mouse colored mule, in hand paid, ok, & before the sealing and delivery of theses Presents, the receipt whereof in hereby acknowledgement has by these present granted sold, and delivered conveyed & confirmed unto the said H. Locklair, his heirs & assigns two hundred & twenty-two and a half of land situate, lying & being as follows as wit: one half of Lot one hundred & fifty-two lying down South of Beaver Creek, twenty acres of Lot one hundred & fifty two and thirty-seven (137) lying in the South West corner of said Lot, the line commencing at what is known as the Will Repress & sums South East corner of Lot one hundred & fifty-two , then place of starting & the North half of Lot one hundred & fifty in the seventh district of originally Houston County, now Crawford County. To have & to hold the said bargained premises, with all the rights and opportunities there & opportunities as the only proper use & benefit of him, the said H. Locklair, his heirs, executors administrators & assigns in fee Simple: & the said J. B. Bearden the said bargained premises in & the said H. Locklair his heirs executors, administrators & assigns, against the said J. B. Bearden his heirs, Executors , administration & assign & against all & every other person

or persons, will now & forever deferred, by virtue of theses
presents. In witness whereof the said J. B. Bearden has, here
unto set his hand as affixed his seal and delivered the Presents
this day and year above written.
