The petition of Winder H. Whittington of said County respectfully showeth that he is the head of a family consisting of himself his wife and four minor children viz Parmelia, Richard, George & Gracy Whittington and that your petitioner owns and possesses the following schedule of personal property free and exempt from (taxes encumbrances from) money borrowed and expended in improvement for purchase money of the same for labor or material furnished therefore & removal of encumbrances thereon. And your petitioner respectfully prays that said subjoined schedule of personalty be exempted from levy and sale & set apart under & in accordance with the Constitution of said State of Georgia and Statutes of said State approved Oct 3rd 1868 an all acts amended along thereof and that notice be published according to law.
