Grant, Robert Lee
70 of Roberta died Monday, April 8, 2002. Services were held Friday,
April 12, 2002 at St. James Baptist Church in Roberta, with burial in Pine Grove
Baptist Church Cemetery in Roberta. Bentley Funeral Home had charge of
arrangements.
Lockett, Lizzie
56 of Roberta died Saturday, April 27, 2002. Survivors include her four
children, all of Roberta; mother, of Roberta; two siblings, both of Roberta; seven grandchildren, two
great-grandchildren; and a very devoted and caring friend.
Services were held Saturday, May 4, 2002 at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, with
burial in the church cemetery. Bentley's Funeral Home of Roberta had
charge of arrangements.
Sutton, Adel Carroll of Fort Valley died April 2, 2002. A native of Crawford County, she was the widow of the late Wilber G. Sutton. She was a member of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her children, sister; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held Tuesday, April 3, 2002 in Oaklawn Cemetery in Fort Valley. Rooks Funeral Home of Fort Valley had charge of arrangements.
