Baggerley, Rosa Lee Gassett
ROBERTA-Graveside services for Mrs. Rosa Lee Gassett Baggarley,92, will be
held at 2P.M. Tuesday, August 20,2002 in Roberta City Cemetery with Rev. Jed
Angell officiating. Mrs. Rosa Lee Baggarley died Sunday at the home of her
daughter, of Thomaston where
she had made her home since April. She was born December 3, 1909 in Crawford
County and was the widow of Charlie L. Baggarley, Mrs. Baggarley was a homemaker
and was of the Methodist faith. Also surviving are nine grandchildren, 14
great-grandchildren and three nieces. Vistiation
was held Monday at the funeral home from 6:00 until 7:00P.M. -Arrangements by:

Chapman, Willie Ruth Smith
FORT VALLEY - Willie Ruth Smith Chapman went home to be with the Lord on
Monday, August 26, 2002. She was born in Slocumb, AL on November 7, 1925.
Services will be at Chamlee Baptist Church in Fort Valley at 2P.M. on Thursday,
August 29, 2002 with the Rev. David Wilkens and the Rev. Gene McKinney
officiating. Burial will be at Oaklawn Cemetery, Fort Valley. She was the
daughter of the late Jessie and Vitanna Smith. For fifty-nine years she was a
faithful and loving wife to her husband, the Rev. Horace Chapman, in his
ministry as pastor of several churches. She was a member of the First Assembly
of God, Fort Valley. She was preceded in death by her son, Woody Chapman. There will be no set
visitation hours. The family requests contributions be made to Parkinson Disease
Support Group, MEDCEN Foundation, 858 High Street, Macon, GA 31201 or the
American Cancer Society, 601 Westview Drive, Fort Valley, GA 31030 and flowers
may be sent to the home of Paul and Brenda Chapman. -Rooks Funeral Home in Fort
Valley has charge of arrangements.
Culpepper, Bessie Calhoun
WARNER ROBINS - Bessie Calhoun Culpepper died Wednesday, August 14, 2002 at
Houston Medical Center. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 17
in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia
Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 7:00 until 9:00 pm at McCullough
Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of
Houston County, 1066 Watson Boulevard, Warner Robins, GA 31088. Mrs. Culpepper
was born in Crisp County, Georgia. She was retired from Meadowdale Learning
Center. She was a member of Second Baptist Church and the Faith Sunday School
Class. She was preceded in death by her husband, David E. Culpepper, daughter
and son-in-law, Edwina and George Thomas, and parents, P.M. "Jake" Calhoun and
Penny Mae Hobbs Calhoun. McCullough Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
Wilder, Joseph Sr.
82 of Roberta died Sunday, August 11, 2002. Services were held
Saturday, August 17, 2002, at White Springs Baptist Church, with burial in the
church cemetery. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home of Roberta had charge of
arrangements.
