Austin, Elder McArthur Alford
ROBERTA - Elder Austin, 62, expired November 27, 2004. Services for Elder
McArthur Alford Austin are 3P.M. Thursday, December 2, 2004, at Old Crawford
County Middle School Auditorium, Roberta. Burial will be in Roberta City
Cemetery. A Bayou current, Louisiana native, he was Pastor of Christ Abundant
Life Ministry and the assistant Crawford County Magistrate Court Judge. A wake
will be held from 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Wednesday, December 1, at Christ Abundant
Life Ministry, Highway 341-South, Roberta. Hicks and Sons Funeral Home, Roberta.
Miller, Quinelle Beasley
ROBERTA - Funeral services for Quinelle Beasley Miller will be held Thursday
at 11A.M. at the Roberta United Methodist Church. Burial will be a private
service. Mrs. Miller, age 72, died at her residence. Mrs. Miller was born in
Telfair County and had lived in Roberta since 1969. She was a nurse and a member
of the Roberta United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her
husbands, Tal Cannington and Robert Miller and a brother, Jeff Beasley.
Contributions may be made to the Roberta United Methodist Church. Visitation
will be held Wednesday 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Goddard Funeral
Home of Roberta has charge of the arrangements.
Barnett, Franklin
CRAWFORD COUNTY - Graveside services for Franklin Barnett will be held
Saturday at 10A.M. in the Glen Haven Cemetery in Macon. Mr. Barnett was born in
Cedar Grove, GA on November 29, 1937. He was a retired Marine Corps Staff
Sergeant and had served his country in Vietnam. He was preceded in death by his
parents, John and Alma Barnett and three sisters, Mable Bailey, Betty Milo and
Irene Kitchens. Goddard Funeral Home of Roberta has charge of arrangements.
Moore, Mozelle Rigdon
ROBERTA - Services for Mozelle Rigdon Moore, age 86, of 211 East Agency
Street, Roberta, will be held 11A.M. Friday at the Roberta United Methodist
Church with burial in Roberta City Cemetery. She was retired from Crawford
County Department of Family and Children Services and a member of Robert United
Methodist Church. She was the daughter of the late Jesse and Sara W. Rigdon. In
lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Roberta United Methodist Church.
Friends may visit the family Thursday evening from 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the
funeral home. Goddard Funeral Home of Roberta has charge of the arrangements.
