Barnett, Charles Harold
KNOXVILLE - Graveside services for Charles Harold Barnett, 79, will be 12 Noon Thursday, June 22, 2006 in Andersonville National Cemetery. -Mr. Barnett died Friday, June 16, 2006. -Born in Rentz to the late John Ashley and Lily Alma Carr Barnett, Mr. Barnett was retired from Redstone Arsenal. He was a World War II Navy Veteran and served with the OSS. A member of the Protestant faith, Mr. Barnett was a member of Masonic Lodge #914 in Huntsville, Alabama.
Survivors include son and daughter-in-law, grandchildren, and sister. -Rooks Funeral Home in Byron has charge of arrangements.
Giles, Cora Lee
ROBERTA - Cora Lee Giles, 85, died Wednesday, June 14, 2006. Graveside services will be held Friday, June 16, 2006 at 2P.M. in Roberta City Cemetery. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Ernest Giles and her daughter, Myrtice Johnson. -Mrs. Giles was born in Bibb County and had lived in Roberta most of her life. She was a member of Roberta United Methodist Church. -Survivors include her daughters,
a brother, nine grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and four great-great grandchildren. -Flowers are welcome or donations may be made to Heartland Hospice, formerly Portsbridge Hospice, 115 Arkwright Landing, Macon, GA 31210. -Visitation will be held Thursday 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Horne, Milton
MUSELLA, GA - Mr. Milton Horne, 81, died on Saturday, June 10th at his home following a lengthy illness. The family will greet friends at Crest Lawn Funeral Home in Macon, GA Monday, June 12th from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. followed by a memorial service from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M. -Mr. Horne is survived by his wife,
children, three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother
and two sisters. Mr. Horne was preceded in death by his parents and four siblings. -Born October 10, 1924 in Knoxville, GA, he was a resident of Crawford County. He served in WWII in the SeaBees and retired from Warner Robins AFB. After retirement he was a farmer and enjoyed hunting and fishing. -The family requests contributions to the Middle Georgia Christian Schools, 5855 Thomaston Road, Macon, GA 31220 in lieu of flowers. -Crest Lawn Funeral Home has charge of arrangements.
