Andrews, Faye S.
86 of Roberta died Sunday, March 3, 2002 at a local nursing home. She
was born in Crawford County and had lived in Crawford County all her life.
She was a civil service worker retired from Robins Air Force Base in Warner
Robins. She was a member of Roberta United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her brother, J. D. Scarborough of Fort Valley, and numerous
nieces and nephews. Graveside services were held Monday, March 4, 2002 in
Roberta City Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Roberta United Methodist
Church. Goddard Funeral Home of Roberta had charge of arrangements.
Ruth Prince Dennett, Dec. 26, 1905 - Mar. 25, 2002Ruth Dennett died March 25, 2002. She had been a resident of Eastside Gardens Rehabilitation Center in Snellville, GA. Ruth was buried with her husband, Prescott Dennett, at Arlington National Cemetery in the Columbarium there. Ruth was a Speed Reader for a News Clipping Service. She was the 96-year-old daughter of Oscar Prince and Minnie Lee Britt Prince, Crawford County, GA. and the granddaughter of Henry N. Britt and Elizabeth Betsy Miller Britt, also of Crawford County. Ruth did teach school for a short time in a small schoolhouse located in Zenith. She and Prescott didn't have any children. Survivors of Ruth Prince Dennett are her nieces, Patricia Prince Scott (Joe) of Buford, GA, Linda Ruth Prince Maddox (Richard) of Houston, Texas, sister-in-law, Ruth Hamlin Prince of Macon, and 2ndcousin of Rozine Britt Sheets of Roberta and Buddy Britt of Musella. *****Submitted by Rozine Britt-Bickel ←

71 of Roberta died Saturday, March 16, 2002. Services were held
Wednesday, March 20, 2002 at Mt. Zion CME Church in Roberta, with burial in
Knoxville Cemetery. Bentley and Sons Funeral Home had charge of
arrangements.
