Spillers, William Arthur
MUSELLA- William Arthur Spillers, 77,
of Route 1, died Tuesday, November 29, 1994, in an Augusta hospital.
Born in Crawford County, he was a retired civil service employee for
Robins Air Force Base. He was a member of Roberta United
Methodist Church and the Crusaders Sunday School Class.
He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 689, the Woodmen of the World and the
Georgia CCC Alumni. He was a former medical technician
for Crawford County. He was a member of the board of
directors of Department of Family and Children’s Services in Crawford County
and a Navy veteran of World War II. Survivors:
wife, Florine Schearer Spillers of Musella, children, Stanley P.
Spillers of Musella and Sheree Spillers Applebury of Milledgeville; brothers
and sister, Paul Spillers and Terry Spillers, both of Musella, James
Spillers of Roberta, Wilbur Spillers of Fort Valley, and Lucille Skinner of
Dublin; and three grandchildren. Services: 11 a.m.
Thursday in the Roberta United Methodist Church. Burial:
Roberta City Cemetery with Masonic rites. The Revs. Owen
B. Williams and Eric Sizemore will officiate. Visitation:
The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 in Goddard Funeral
Home in Roberta. In lieu of flowers, the family requests
donations be made to Roberta United Methodist Church of the Central Georgia
Alzheimer’s Association, 401 Cherry Street, Suite 404, Macon, GA
