Bankston, Mary McGee
ROBERTA - Funeral services for Mary McGee Bankston, 85, of Roberta, will be held on Tuesday at 2P.M. at the Roberta United Methodist Church with the Rev. Jim Hamlin and Rev. Tom Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Roberta City Cemetery.
Mrs. Bankston, a lifelong resident of Crawford County, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2006 at Taylor County Health Care. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. "Billy" Bankston, her brother, Homer McGee and her sisters, Johnnie Mae Johnson, Mattie Jo Johnson and Annie Ola
Seagler. For over twenty years, the Bankstons owned and operated Bankston Funeral Home, in which Mrs. Bankston was actively involved in serving the families of Crawford and surrounding counties. She was a member of the Roberta United Methodist Church and the
UMW. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Roberta United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be held on Monday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Blasingame, Gussie
ROBERTA - Mrs. Gussie Blasingame, who lived at 2929 Olive Grove Church Road in Roberta, Georgia died on Tuesday, November 14th at the Macon Medical Center. Her husband, Mr. Junior Blasingame and all other relatives can be contacted at their home in Roberta. The time and place for Mrs. Blasingame funeral and burial will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 2P.M. from the Olive Grove Baptist Church in Crawford County. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pastor R. L. Hodo will officiate.
Mrs. Blasingame is survived by her husband and eight children. Bentley's and Sons Funeral Home is in charge of all services.
Hortman, Pamela Gail Burgess
ROBERTA - Memorial services for Pamela Hortman, 45, will be held Friday, November 17, 2006 at 11A.M. at the Roberta United Methodist Church.
She was born in San Antonio, TX and had lived in Crawford County since 1993. She was a real estate agent for Caldwell Bankers. Pam was very successful in real estate because she loved her work. She was in the Million Dollar Club each year of her career. She was a member of the Roberta United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her father, John Hugh Burgess.
Survivors include her husband, her mother, her daughters, her sisters, her grandchildren,
her father-in-law, her mother-in-law, her nephews, and several aunts and uncles.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Roberta United Methodist Church for the "General Operating Fund'.
Visitation will be held 6:00 until 8:00 P.M. Thursday at the funeral home.
Goddard Funeral Home of Roberta has charge of the arrangements.
Howard, Bennie
ROBERTA - Bennie Howard passed away November 10, 2006. Services will be 1P.M. Thursday at Bethel CME Church with burial in the church cemetery.
Survivors: sons, siblings, two grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Marsh, Bernice L.
ROBERTA - Bernice L. Marsh peacefully went to meet his Savior and Lord surrounded by his family on November 18, 2006. Born on January 1, 1916, he was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Daisy McCoy Marsh, and by ten brothers and one sister. Mr. Marsh was a member of White Oaks Free Will Baptist Church. He was retired from Robins Air Force Base.
Mr. Marsh is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law; son and daughter-in-law; 15 grandchildren; 40 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. Tuesday, November 21, 2006 at the chapel of Hart's Mortuary with the Reverends Billy Sharpston and Bobby Hamlin officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Hart's Mortuary has charge of arrangements.
Tanner, John B. "Johnny"
FORT VALLEY - John B. Tanner, age 59, died Friday, November 10, 2006 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 2P.M. Monday at the Musella Baptist Church. Burial will be in the Roberta City Cemetery.
He was born in Tift County and had lived in Crawford County for the past twenty years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and had served during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the Musella Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, you may make donations to the Musella Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held 7:00 until 9:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Goddard Funeral Home of Roberta has charge of the arrangements.
