Town and Country
A reunion of Company E, Sixth Georgia Regiment of Volunteers of Crawford County,
will take place at Roberta on Wednesday, the 22nd inst. We publish elsewhere an
entire list of the company which will be of much interest to the surviving
members which has been furnished us by Capt. Z.A. Fowler, of Butler who was
acting as 2nd Lieutenant at the time the company left for the army, but was
afterward promoted as captain of his company. Everybody is invited and a grand
time is expected with the old veterans of the "lost cause."

* Thank you for the info that you have provided. I am writing to make a correction that I am sure you will appreciate as a historian. Please find the correction to one of the entries: noted in the body, in the color blue, of the Reunion history. I am aware that this was not your error, but it deserves to be corrected for the on-going history of this man who was my husband's great-grandpa, Henry D. Marshall. The D. initial was for Doss, not Dawson. One verification of that was by the noted genealogist of the Marshall line, Bobby Stokes. Please do whatever you can to make this known so that it is no longer perpetuated as truth.
Jackie Marshall Marshall
