My Dearest Cawley,
I will write you a few lines to let you hear from us We are getting
along all right now Clinton is getting along fine now and I truly hope he
continues all right. How are you feeling all right I hope how are those
risings I do hope they dont suffer

you bad and hope you dont have any more. Cawley Dear you surely must need
some blood medicine and you ought to get you some & take it I believe it
would help you. I'll declare it seems like it isn't for us to ever have any
thing. Tho I feel that its Gods will, and I try to feil satisfied because
what he sees fit for us to have we will get

and no more. So try to be reconciled and just think we couldn't even have
bread to eat if God was a mind to prevent it. So just say to your self that
we are both young & able to work if god gives us the power and I believe he
will do that. Mama is getting along as well as common now she is able to be
up and carry on her work again.

few more dollars if you can spare it. I wouldn't do this & I hate to do it
but I had to spend a good deal of that what you sent me for medicine & Dr
bill and if I get Clinton & me some every day & Sunday clothes I want have
enough to get much as every thing is so high and I thought I would get a
little cloth for a few pillow slips two if I could. By By Dear with bushels
