Letter from Cawley Clinton HUDSON (1895-1974) to Bertha Mae AULTMAN (1894-1974)

Dear girl:
I will write you as I promest, and wonder if my little girl wants to hear from me.

Dear I have told you a thousand times how much I love you it seems that I love you more every day.
I sure want to see you for it seems like it has been a year since I saw you.  You said I couldn't come when I want to.  I am glad you did for if I were to come when I want to I would come every day.  I sure did have a lonesome ride Sunday night but was at home and asleep at 10 oclock.

Dear be a good girl and try to love me always.  I know everybody is talking to you about me, but dear if I live I am going to try to make you happy that is all that I can do.

I will close write soon and all the news to yours
