this section, died at the home of his son, Mr. Jack Becham, east of Knoxville,

The house owned and occupied by Miss Eva Lou Holt, at Knoxville, was destroyed
by fire Thursday morning between 1 and 2 o’clock. This was one of the
oldest houses in Knoxville and was known as the old Blasingame Hotel. The
post office was in one room of the building but practically everything belonging
to it was saved. The fire is supposed to have originated from a defective
flue in the kitchen.
