Last Will and Testament of Mathew Harrison

State of Georgia,

I Mathew Harrison of said County of Decatur being of sound and disposing mind and memory,  Do make
this my last will and testament hereby revoking all other wills, by me hereto-fore made


Item  1st
I desire that all my just debts be paid as soon after my death a possible


Item 2nd
I desire my body buried in a decent Christian manner suitable to my circumstances in life


Item 3rd
It is my will wish and desire that after the payment of my debts, all the remainder of my estate both
real and personal be given and belong to my son Samuel H. Harrison and I do hereby bequeath the same
to him to have and to hold to same forever in fee simple and to hold to same forever in fee simple


Item 4
I desire that this my last will at my death be duly probated after which I hereby expressly release
my executor from the intervention of any court whatever, that is he shall not be required to make
returns, shall have the right to sell all property at private sale if he so desires, the estate need
not be appraised, but I enjoin on him the duty of making out a full inventory of all the real and
personal property by himself and two of his neighbors to be selected by himself, which inventory
Is to be signed by the executor and said two neighbors and kept by my executor for the use of any
of my creditors (to see) any time until they shall have been paid up whatever lawful claims maybe
required me at my death.


Item 5th
I hearby appoint my son Samuel H Harrison the executor of this my last will and testament
this Sept. 25, 1886
