Brock, of the county of Decatur, State of Georgia, being of sound and disposing mind and memory, but realising the uncertainty of life, do hereby make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others by me heretofore made. Item three: In consideration of my giving, bequeathing and devising of my property to my son, John Paul Brock, the said John Paul Brock, is required to care for, maintain and support my beloved wife, Bama Brock, for and during the remainder of her life, and to care for, maintain and support my crippled son, Noah Brock, for and during the remainder of his natural life. Item four: To my other children, Dollie Collins, Adel Green, Corbin Brock, Frank Brock, Cleo Brock, Bufford Brock, Ralph Brock, Abner Brock, Lance Brock, Allen Brock and the children of my deceased son, James Brock, I give and bequeath to each of them the sum of $1.00. Item six: I hereby make, constitute and appoint my said son, John Paul Brock, he surviving me, the sole executor of this my last will and testament, and I hereby expressly confer upon him power as such, to administer my estate, excusing and relieving him from making any inventory of my estate and from having the same appraised, and excusing and relieving him from giving any bond of any kind or character and from making any returns to the Ordinary, Court of Ordinary or any other court whatsoever; and I expressly confer upon him the full authority and power to sell of any part of my estate, real or personal, mixed or choses in action, wheresoever found and of whatsoever consisting, at public or private sale, with or without notice or advertisement, as he may deem best and without any order of court, making good and sufficient conveyances to the purchaser or purchasers, and holding and applying the proceeds of such sale or sales to the same uses, purpose and trusts as hereinbefore declared in the several items of this my last will and testament.
