In Dodge County, the Eastman Times says, Mathew Clark made on one and 3/4 acres of land, 20 barrels of sugar and syrup.

Union and Recorder, March 18, 1879

Dodge County, says the Eastman Times, is out of debt, and has $300 in the treasury.  The county has just built a $3,000 court house and paid for it.
