gggrandmother Rebecca's parents were, as well. If you can help me in any way I would appreciate it so much. Thank you for your time, regardless of whether
you can help me or not.

Researching my family in Georgia. My g-grandfather was born in Georgia in 1852. I have found census records for 1860 listing him. His full name was James Wesley Pruitt, born 1852, GA, died 1940 AR. He married Mary Stancil of AL. In 1860 the census lists Floyd CO. GA.; Floyd Springs Dist.; 1860 census; page 10; 138.tif: Pruit, Elizabeth, 43 F Farmer SC; John, 23 M Laborer GA; Robert, 21 M GA; William, 19 M GA; Margaret, 17 F GA; Marion, 14 M GA; Newton, 12 M GA; Henry, 10 M GA; Wesley, 8 M GA; Pinkney, 5 M GA; Virginia, 1/12 F GA. I would appreciate any help with finding who Elizabeth was and what her husband,
my gg-grandfather's, name was and what happened to him. Family tales suggest he committed suicide.

I, along with a number of other relatives, are trying to find the date of death and the burial location of my great great great grandmother, Cath(e)rine Coghill Brown. She was born according to her own testimony on April 19th,1817 probably in Essex Co Virginia. She was married to Edward B. Brown (b.Aug 17th,1818) on Jan. 14th, 1841 also in the Essex Co VA area. They had 3 children who survived to adulthood: Elizabeth F. Brown(b.Dec 19th, 1841), Charles E. Brown (b.Apr 17th,1843) and Thomas Berry Brown (b.Jan 29th, 1846). I descend from Thomas. We think that Charles may have relocated to the Richmond, VA area after the Civil War just as Thomas moved to Philadelphia, PA. The girl, Elizabeth, married a civil war vet from Texas, Charles Jacques Warner (born in England Feb 23rd, 1834). The 1850 census records Cathrine in Essex Co VA. We think she was at 23 Franklin St., Richmond, VA in the early 1860's during the war. The 1870 census has her in Lewisburg, WV with her daughter, Eliz & family. 1880 has her in Philadelphia with her son, Thomas. At some point the daughter Elizabeth and her husband Charles moved to Rome, GA and the 1900 census shows Cathrine as still alive and living in Rome with her daughter's family. My branch of the family has no knowledge of what became of her nor do the family of Elizabeth. We suspect she died in the area of Rome and even if in Atlanta, we suspect she would have been brought back home. The Warner family is mostly buried in Myrtle Hill Cemetary but inquiries there have revealed nothing. I have been trying to find an obituary in any local paper but have come up dry. For those of you familiar with the Rome area, other clues which may be of some help are that one of Elizabeth's 4 children was locally well known as Lula Warner and she was a nurse or something to do with the medical profession. There was a rather extensive obit when she died. The folks who founded and ran the Harbin Clinic also descended from Cathrine. Any help would be appreciated and I have info to share about descendants.
