Police Did Get Them.

Peter Ivey and a friend broke into the dwelling of a friend night before
last for the purpose of fighting where the police could not get them. 
Ivey came out first best, and when the woman murmured against such an
intrusion, he turned in and whipped her.  He was given a fine of $6.75.
