P 56 Glascock County-Jerusha Kent of Glascock County for $337.50 presents the receipt for securing the payment of certain promissory notes said Jerusha Kent hath this day made and delivered to Nathaniel Thompson due on the 25th Dec next. Jerusha Kent promises to pay said Nathaniel Thompson $337.50 for value received hath bargained and sold to said Lorenzo D Downs and Wily G Braddy the following property-a Negro girl named Mahalah age 18 years old 16 Jan 1858
