P 56 Glascock County-Jerusha Kent of Glascock County for $337.50 presents the receipt for securing the payment of certain promissory notes said Jerusha Kent hath this day made and delivered to Nathaniel Thompson due on the 25^th Dec next. Jerusha Kent promises to pay said Nathaniel Thompson $337.50 for value received hath bargained and sold to said Lorenzo D Downs and Wily G Braddy the following property-a Negro girl named Mahalah age 18 years old 16 Jan 1858

Sheriff E A Brinkley did lately seize the tract of land described as the proporty of Wm Kitchens on the 5 Jan 1858 sold at public sales-Terrell Kitchens being highest bidder for $840 land adjoining William Bales, Wm Dicksen containing 883 acres
